So far, so good for the National Football League and its mission to complete the entirety of the 2020 season.
The NFL released its most recent COVID-19 testing results and the news is tremendous. Only one player tested positive during the league’s latest sample period, Aug. 30 through Sept. 5.
The data revealed 2,641 players and 5,708 other personnel were tested last week and just one player tested positive for coronavirus. Seven staff members also tested positive. Since testing began on Aug. 12, a total of 24 people have confirmed positive test results—another tremendous sign for Roger Goodell and the owners.
