New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh spoke to the media on Wednesday prior to the team’s Week 3 matchup against the Denver Broncos to update the injury status of a few players. Two surprise names on the list were quarterback Zach Wilson (groin) and defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers (calf).
Wilson did not have any limitations in practice while Franklin-Myers was unable to practice. Saleh does not expect these ailments to hinder the availability of either player for Sunday’s game. He did not mention whether the injuries were sustained in Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots or in practice this week.
