The NY Jets will turn to the 2020 NFL Draft this offseason as the team continues to rebuild their roster with an influx of young talent. And due to an unforeseen discrepancy in trade conditions, the Jets will have an additional draft pick to work with.
The New York Post’s Brian Costello reported early on Thursday that the Jets have been awarded an additional sixth-round pick after the terms of the Nate Hairston trade made earlier in the season weren’t met.
Hairston was acquired in a trade with the Indianapolis Colts in late August in which the Jets sent a conditional sixth-round pick in return.
