NY Jets: Why Lawrence Cager has a real shot at making the final roster

Following the 2020 NFL Draft, the NY Jets signed nine undrafted free agents and one of the more intriguing was Georgia wide receiver Lawrence Cager.

Cager is one of five new additions this season at the wide receiver position, as the team also added Breshad Perriman and Josh Doctson in free agency, drafted Baylor’s Denzel Mims, and signed West Virginia wideout George Campbell as an undrafted free agent.

Perriman and Mims are locks to make the 55-man roster, however, the team is still somewhat thin at the receiver position.
