On Wednesday, it was announced that New York Jets right tackle Max Mitchell was being placed on the team’s Non-Football Injury (NFI) list and would miss the rest of the season. A reason was not initially provided, but we now know the cause is several blood clots discovered by doctors recently, according to SNY’s Connor Hughes.
Max Mitchell was placed on the NFI because doctors found he had blood clots, sources tell @SNYtv.
He is good & in good spirits. Grateful doctors caught them when they did.
