The NY Jets have reportedly placed both Quincy Enunwa and Josh Bellamy on the reserve/PUP list decimating the team’s wide receiver depth in the process. And both injuries could signal the end of each of their Jets careers — or perhaps their NFL careers.
Enunwa had essentially missed two of the last three seasons with two separate neck injuries leaving his future uncertain for much of the offseason. General manager Joe Douglas was noticeably cautious when discussing Enunwa’s future role on the team.
And now we see why.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport was the first to report the news and he also reiterated that both injuries were indeed season-ending.
