The “Griddy” has taken the NFL by storm. It’s become arguably the most common touchdown dance in the league – possibly even the entire sport.
New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson is the latest player to pull out the move. In the second quarter of an eventual 24-20 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Wilson caught a touchdown pass from Braxton Berrios to put the Jets up 10-0, and he responded with his best shot at the Griddy.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson is the man credited with popularizing the dance.
