The NY Jets have plenty of holes to address on their roster this offseason with one of their most pressing needs at cornerback. Fortunately, the recent release of former Chicago Bears cornerback Prince Amukamara could help the team address that need.
Cornerback was one of the Jets’ biggest concerns going into the 2019 season. Instead of beefing up the position in the offseason, the team decided to rely on the duo of Trumaine Johnson and Darryl Roberts last year.
Needless to say, it didn’t work out.
With both of those players expected to be cut in the coming weeks, and with very little proven options on the roster, the Jets feasibly need two new starters on the outside for 2020.
