NY Jets safety Jamal Adams once again seems to find himself at the forefront of trade rumors after reports have surfaced that he might be on the verge of a holdout.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported early Friday morning that Adams is not expected to participate in the team’s voluntary offseason program that will take place later this month. Essentially that implies that a holdout is likely in the near future.
Adams is searching for an extension on his contract, but Schefter insists that the Jets “have not expressed any official interest in extending Adams thus far in the offseason.
