NY Jets FS Lamarcus Joyner possibly out for season with torn tendon (Report)

The New York Jets might’ve lost more than a game on Sunday.

A new report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport hints that starting safety Lamarcus Joyner could require season-ending surgery after opening the season with a 19-14 loss at the hands of the Carolina Panthers. Joyner joined the Jets on a one-year deal in March after seven seasons between the Raiders and Rams’ franchises.

#Jets DB Lamarcus Joyner, who exited the game with an elbow injury, suffered an apparent torn tendon in his arm that will require surgery, source said. Pending further tests, the injury likely knocks him out for the season.
