The New York Jets announced the releases of four players in compliance with the NFL mandate that rosters be cut down to 80 players by 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday, per Randy Lange of the team’s official website.
Wide receiver Manasseh Bailey, offensive tackle Tristen Hoge, wide receiver Josh Malone and linebacker Edmond Robinson account for the foursome that’ll have to hand in playbooks immediately.

Bailey, the scorer of 20 touchdowns over a four-year career at Morgan State, had been with the team since January on a reserve/future contract.
