NY Jets: Chuma Edoga is ‘guaranteed a starting job in 2020’

The NY Jets offensive line was terrible in 2019.

Gang Green tried every possible combination to try and get something to stick but to no avail. All-in-all, the team used nine different offensive line combinations.

They were terrible at run blocking (31st) and they weren’t much better at pass protection (30th), per Football Outsider analytics.

This offseason the team will attempt to overhaul the trenches, but you can only do so much in a couple of months. The offensive line issues the team is suffering through is due to years of neglect.

So it’s super unlikely the NY Jets will have five new starters on the offensive line in 2020.
