The NY Jets will inevitably look to replace head coach Adam Gase in the offseason once he is ultimately fired — very likely at the conclusion of the current season.
But with so much at stake, the Jets can ill-afford to make the same mistake they did two years ago. They need to hire the right head coach or else they risk setting the franchise back years just as they did with the Gase hire.
