FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — C.J. Mosley didn’t consider opting out this time.
The surge in COVID-19 cases around the league led to the NFL and NFLPA changing the protocols and gave high-risk players an opportunity to opt out for the remainder of the season. The deadline was 2 p.m. Monday.
Mosley chose to opt out of 2020 because of concerns over COVID-19, but he said he didn't think about it when it was offered last week.
