On Wednesday, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy hopped on WFAN’s “Moose and Maggie” to discuss the status of sports in his state as it looks to reopen.
Naturally, the New York Jets and Giants were the main topic of discussion, considering both teams’ home is stationed in the great Garden State. And thankfully (for the entirety of Jets fandom), Murphy did not rule out the possibility of packed MetLife Stadium houses this coming season.
“I think it’s too early to tell,” Murphy said. “I think it’s a great aspiration. And outdoors is better than indoors with this virus.
