Nick Mangold out for second straight game for Jets vs. Dolphins

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — The Jets were without Nick Mangold for the second straight game.

The veteran center was officially doubtful to play against the Miami Dolphins Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium. Mangold was replaced again by backup Wesley Johnson.

Cornerback Buster Skrine (knee), Muhammad Wilkerson (ankle) and tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins (ankle) were all active, and new running back C.J. Spiller was set to make his debut.

Bryce Petty remained Ryan Fitzpatrick’s backup with rookie quarterback Christian Hackenberg inactive.

Full Jets inactives: Mangold, Hackenberg, Kellen Davis, Darron Lee, Bruce Carter, Brent Qvale and tight end Eric Tomlinson, who was signed yesterday after Valley Stream’s Victor Ochi was released
