The NFL had to figure that out of all its problems lately — and there are plenty — at least it has moved well beyond the idea that coaches should offer "bounties" to their players for hurting opposing stars.
That would never happen again, right? Not given the "Bountygate" scandal that dominated league headlines five years ago with the New Orleans Saints. Not with the suspension and hefty fines and zero-tolerance policy outlined by league commissioner Roger Goodell.
Well, somebody didn't get the message, and that somebody is actually on the NFL Network payroll.
