The NFL released a Covid-19 update this week, they are suspending all protocols, effective immediately. Here is the recap from NFL.com.
Operations will return to normal following nearly two years of restrictions, the league relayed in a memo on Thursday, obtained by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
It is a long-awaited awaited announcement as there will be no more requirements for masks, tracking devices, surveillance testing or capacity limits, unless they are required by state or local laws.
“Based on current encouraging trends regarding the prevalence and severity of COVID-19, the evolving guidance from the CDC, changes to state law and the counsel of our respective experts, the NFL and NFLPA have agreed to suspend all aspects of the joint COVID-19 Protocols,” the league memo read in part.
