Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen is a polarizing prospect in the 2018 NFL Draft.
But recently, at least a couple mock drafts have projected him to the Jets at No. 6.
ESPN's Todd McShay did it. And now, NFL.com's Chad Reuter joins in.
Here is Reuter's explanation:
If the Jets liked Christian Hackenberg, they're going to love Allen. The Wyoming product showed during Senior Bowl week his ability to utilize his talents to the fullest.
Well, that's not exactly a ringing endorsement, since Hackenberg's inability to get on the field is the very reason the Jets could draft a quarterback sixth overall this year, if they don't break the bank to sign Kirk Cousins in free agency.
