We don't see it happening. Heck, Allen might go first overall to the Browns anyway, so it would be a moot point in that scenario. But the Jets have already seen the problems that come with taking a quarterback who had accuracy issues in college. They did it in Round 2 of the 2016 draft with Christian Hackenberg ... and he has been so bad in the NFL that he can't even get into a regular season game.
Let's say the Jets' decision, for whatever reason, comes down to Mayfield or Rosen at No. 3. We like them both as scheme fits for the Jets' West Coast offense, because they both have short- and mid-range touch and accuracy — things Allen lacks.
