NFL Draft 2018: Is it just 1999 all over again? Giants, Jets, top QBs better hope this ex-GM is right

The teams at the top of the 2018 NFL Draft don't want to party like it's 1999.

That's the last time — and only the second time ever, joining 1971 — that quarterbacks were the first three picks of a NFL Draft. It never has happened that quarterbacks went 1-2-3-4 in a draft.

But it might happen in a few weeks, when USC's Sam Darnold, UCLA's Josh Rosen, Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield and Wyoming's Josh Allen come off the board.

It would take some trading, however, since the Browns hold two of the top four picks and even they won't pick two quarterbacks.
