INDIANAPOLIS -- As if everybody didn't know it already, Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield confirmed the obvious on Friday: He is the most confident quarterback in this year's NFL Draft.
Or at least the most willing to publicly show his confidence.
During his NFL Scouting Combine press conference Friday, Mayfield was borderline cocky and at times defiant, while talking about his hopes to thrive in the NFL.
If the Jets aren't able to sign Kirk Cousins in free agency, they could draft Mayfield sixth overall. And playing in the New York spotlight would be just fine with him.
