New York Jets WR Quincy Enunwa out for season with a neck injury

The New York Jets have received a devastating blow at the wide receiver position.

On Wednesday, reports came out that Gang Green receiver Quincy Enunwa‘s 2019 season is over. The veteran suffered a neck injury during Sunday’s 17-16 loss to the Buffalo Bills. He left during the first quarter of the game but then returned.

This is the second major injury Enunwa has suffered to his neck. He missed the entire 2017 campaign after going down in training camp of that year.

“You lose a starter. You lose a guy that is a veteran player that has been through a lot and that’s done a lot of good things,” Jets head coach Adam Gase said, per Brian Costello of the New York Post.
