Bad news and early departures piled up for the New York Jets during Monday night’s game against the Cleveland Browns. The team announced during the third quarter that receiver Demaryius Thomas would miss the remainder of the game with a hamstring issue.
Thomas, who was brought in from the New England Patriots last week, was in the midst of his New York debut. He had one reception on the evening for negative yardage.
The Jets are Thomas’ fourth team in the past calendar year. He began last season with the Denver Broncos before he was traded to the Houston Texans.
