The New York Jets may be forced to play their fourth-string slot cornerback against the Cleveland Browns this Sunday.
Rookie Javelin Guidry is currently dealing with a knee injury that will most likely keep him out of the Jets’ final home game of the season. With Brian Poole on IR and Arthur Maulet playing free safety, Guidry represented the Jets’ third option at the position.
It’s tough to know who Frank Bush will turn to without Guidry’s services.
If Guidry can’t go, an option to play slot corner against Baker Mayfield is Corey Ballentine.
