The New York Jets felt like it was time for a change of scenery at quarterback. Geno Smith was a bust, Ryan Fitzpatrick played awfully and the young guys, Bryce Petty and Christian Hackenberg apparently didn’t show enough. So, they signed 14-year journeyman quarterback in Josh McCown.
McCown has been very up-and-down in his long career, but he seems ready to be consistent. And the Jets obviously seem to like him.
