New York Jets TE Chris Herndon likely out two weeks (Report)

Looks like the time spent without tight end Chris Herndon will be prolonged for the New York Jets.

Per a report from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Herndon has a Grade 1 hamstring strain. He previously was doubtful for this Sunday’s game against the 3-2 Dallas Cowboys. The veteran, however, is now officially out. He’s also likely to be out the following week against the New England Patriots.

#Jets TE Chris Herndon suffered a Grade 1 hamstring strain while running routes on Friday, source said, and he’s out this week and likely next week.
