Looks like the time spent without tight end Chris Herndon will be prolonged for the New York Jets.
Per a report from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Herndon has a Grade 1 hamstring strain. He previously was doubtful for this Sunday’s game against the 3-2 Dallas Cowboys. The veteran, however, is now officially out. He’s also likely to be out the following week against the New England Patriots.
