Long eliminated from the NFL Playoff picture, the New York Jets nonetheless partook in conference championship Sunday, firing off on social media during the games.
The charge was led by Jamal Adams, whose enthusiastic persona oozed through his postings. Adams was particularly chatty during the AFC Championship Game, won by the Jets’ AFC East rivals, the New England Patriots.
As the Patriots engaged in what became an overtime battle with the Kansas City Chiefs, Adams couldn’t help but note the situation seemed all-too-familiar, one that would end in a New England win.
