Meet Bradley McDougald, the new guy in town.
The New York Jets’ new strong safety arrives with a near-impossible task on hand: replace Jamal Adams, who was sent with a 2022 fourth-round pick to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for McDougald, a pair of first-round picks (2021 and 2022) and a third-rounder in 2021.
McDougald, 29, came into the league as an undrafted free agent who signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013. After just four games, he caught on with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who he stuck with for three-plus years.
