A relatively uneventful trade deadline for the New York Jets managed to produce the biggest storyline in the NFL. Star safety Jamal Adams was very unhappy that the team listened to offers for him.
Adams believes that the team was shopping them although general manager Joe Douglas claims that the team was merely answering phone calls. Either way, Adams has not yet felt ready to speak with Douglas or Adam Gase.
Despite choosing not to speak to Gase or Douglas, Adams isn’t completely shutting himself off from upper management, as he met with CEO Christopher Johnson, per Dennis Waszak Jr.
