The New York Jets picked up their third consecutive win (and fourth total) on Sunday afternoon. They ousted the Oakland Raiders 34-3, led by a dominating performance from second-year quarterback Sam Darnold.
The University of Southern California product threw for 315 yards and two touchdowns as well as rushed for one score in the win.
However, not everything went the Jets’ way. Right tackle Chuma Edoga suffered a Grade 2 MCL sprain. He left the game early and thus went for an MRI on Monday. Edoga will now miss time due to the injury, although it’s not clear how many weeks exactly.
