New York Jets release injury report; Denzel Mims among those ruled out

The Jets released their final injury report of the week heading into the season opener at Buffalo.

Rookie wide receiver Denzel Mims‘ NFL debut will be delayed. Mims had returned from a hamstring injury that kept him out for most of training camp, but now he’s injured the other one. Adam Gase did not rule out an IR stint for Mims.

Joe Flacco (neck) will miss the game as expected, while linebacker Avery Williamson (hamstring) and rookie running back La’Mical Perine (ankle) will also miss the game.
