New York Jets fans might not have to throw out their “J. Adams” jerseys just yet.
The team confirmed that they will be bringing back 24-year-old running back Josh Adams on a new contract. Adams tallied 157 yards on 29 carries last season, including two scores.

Undrafted out of Notre Dame, Adams previously worked with current Jets general manager Joe Douglas during a shared season in 2018, when the former put up 511 yards and three scores, good enough to earn the team’s leading rushing honors.
