The New York Jets finished with a below-average record of 4-12 last season. Rookie quarterback Sam Darnold, who played and started in 13 games, was not to blame though.
Despite only completing 57.7% of his throws for 2,865 yards, 17 touchdowns, and 15 interceptions, it was more the coaching staff as well as the struggling defense which led to the Jets finishing last in the AFC East.
However, things are looking up for the Jets with a new head coach in Adam Gase, a new running back in Le’Veon Bell and an improving quarterback in Darnold.
