Nothing went particularly well for the New York Jets on Monday night in their defeat to the New England Patriots. They were shut out, quarterback Sam Darnold was held under 100 yards and had five turnovers, and ESPN decided to controversially air a comment from Darnold that he was “seeing ghosts.”
While it was a bad game for Darnold, he isn’t shying away from it. According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, he told reporters that it was a “rough night” and that he knows he needs to be better.
