On Tuesday, the New York Jets finally made the decision to place linebacker C.J. Mosley on season-ending injured reserve. This comes after Mosley appeared in just two games all year.
The newly-acquired Pro Bowl linebacker, who dealt with a groin injury nearly the entire season, appeared in the Week 1 loss to Buffalo and the Week 7 loss to New England.
Over the two games (both starts), Mosley racked up nine combined tackles, one interception (one pick-six), two passes defended, and one fumble recovery.
The Jets originally signed him to a five-year, $85 million deal prior to this season after he made four Pro Bowls in five campaigns with the Baltimore Ravens.
