FLORHAM PARK, NEW JERSEY—The New York Jets are set to have $100 million in cap space next season. One of their first purchases could the assurance of having one of their veteran offensive weapons around for the long-term.
Per Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, the team has entered negotiations with receiver Quincy Enunwa about a new, longer contract. Enunwa, 26, is in his fifth year with the team, entering as a sixth-round pick in 2014.
After his four-year rookie deal expired, Enunwa, who missed all of 2017 thanks to a neck injury, was inked to a one-year deal worth just over $2.
