Earlier this season, both New York Jets running back Le’Veon Bell and safety Jamal Adams survived the trade deadline. Both of their names came up in conversation and general manager Joe Douglas actually fielded calls on them. However, nothing came to fruition, as both stayed on the roster for the remainder of the 2019 season.
But that doesn’t mean Bell and Adams will be back for the 2020 campaign. According to Ralph Vacchiano of SNY, the Jets may look to trade either player when the offseason arrives.
“Multiple sources around the NFL told me this week that they really do expect that the Jets will make Bell available this offseason,” Vacchiano said this past weekend.
