The New York Jets had a common trend I don’t know if anyone else picked on under Mike Maccagnan. In the years they selected Jamal Adams and Darron Lee, the Jets drafted their counterparts as well to ensure quality players at positions of weakness.
One of which was free safety Marcus Maye. Maye and Adams brought the Jets a dangerous secondary duo with big expectations for the future.
Marcus Maye debuted and made a name for himself within the organization with 79 tackles and 2 INTs in his debut season. He performed very well alongside Jamal and showed the Jets they may have got a steal in the draft.
