The New York Jets and the rest of their NFL brethren will slice their rosters to 53 men by Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET, necessitating drastic roster cutdowns after the final preseason contests were staged on Sunday. While cutdowns will reach the mandated regular season 53, they’ll by no means serve as the official opening day rosters, as Tuesday’s non-stop movement will likely lead to new destinations for certain players.
