Man oh man it, keeps getting worse for the New York Jets. They continue to stay in the headlines for the wrong reasons. The latest blunder comes in the form of linebacker Lorenzo Mauldin accused of assault.
Mauldin is being accused by Jean Lopez for punching him in the face several times. The incident was supposedly started after Lopez spilled champagne on Mauldin in the Highline Ballroom at Chelsea nightclub back in April.
Mauldin allegedly punched Lopez once in the eye and once in the jaw.
According to the New York Post, Lopez’s lawyer stated he suffered “multiple maxillofacial fractures” and needed “numerous plates installed to repair the damage”.
