The New York Jets have shown interest in finding a developmental quarterback throughout the offseason. They brought in a number of Day 3 quarterbacks for visits pre-draft including Max Duggan, Aidan O’Connell, and Jake Haener. While they didn’t end up drafting a quarterback, their search has continued. XFL starter Jack Coan is the latest signal-caller to get his shot.
Coan, a native of Sayville, New York, and an alum of Sayville High School, once looked like a star in the making. During his junior season at Wisconsin, Coan completed 69.6% of his passes and threw 18 touchdown passes against 5 interceptions, while also rushing for four touchdowns.
