For Jamison Crowder, redemption came faster than Rudolph on Christmas Eve.
The New York Jets receiver went from blooper to trouper in a single play. New York’s third possession of Thursday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens featured plenty of Crowder, who set the Jets up in prime scoring possession with a 41-yard reception that got them into Ravens territory.
With goal to go on second down at the Baltimore four-yard-line, Crowder’s name was again called upon by quarterback Sam Darnold. However, despite the nearest Ravens defender perhaps waiting for Orioles tickets at Camden Yards, the wide-open Crowder dropped a Darnold pass in the end zone.
