The New York Jets wide receiver situation continues to operate on fumes. A bad situation turned worse when Breshad Perriman’s injury was announced this past weekend.
There’s good news, however; head coach Adam Gase expects his top outside threat to return to the team this Saturday (after an off-day).
Perriman, 26, signed a one-year, $8 million deal with the Jets this past offseason after enjoying his lone season in Tampa. He finished with 645 yards and six touchdowns on 36 receptions in 2019 while playing third-fiddle to Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.
