New York Jets: Initial 2020 NFL Draft plans revealed via scouting sources

What the New York Jets will do in the 2020 NFL Draft is a mystery. First-year general manager Joe Douglas will get his first opportunity at signing his own free-agent class and running his first NFL Draft as the lead dog.

With it being his first year, his draft plans are unknown. Although Matt Miller of Bleacher Report has scouting sources around the league and he had some interesting things to say about the Jets in his latest ‘Scouting Notebook’:

“The Jets will sit and wait to see if the offensive tackle-needy teams ahead of them start a run on the position, but those around the league who know general manager Joe Douglas firmly expect him to draft a tackle or an edge-rusher here.
