The New York Jets finally added some brutus beefcake to their defensive line with the addition of Nathan Shepherd out of Fort Hays State. Where?
They needed to add depth and starter potential to the defensive line with Muhammad Wilkerson’s departure this offseason to the Green Bay Packers. They do that with Shepherd who was a projected second-round pick and falls into the Jets’ lap.
He’s super raw (which is something you never want to hear) but has a high ceiling. He can also play inside and outside and can play in a 3-4 front as a four or five technique.
