Well, how about this one?
At his press conference a day prior to the Thursday night matchup against the Buffalo Bills, New York Jets head coach Todd Bowles provided a not so keen answer about a newly-acquired player, via Rich Cimini of ESPN New York.
When asked about Mike Maccagnan’s move to acquire San Francisco 49ers cornerback Rashard Robinson for a fifth-round selection prior to the NFL’s trade deadline, Bowles was caught off guard.
“Did we? I wasn’t aware of that, but I’ll go upstairs and check on it.”
This is what happens when both the head coach and general manager report to ownership separately.
