Since New York Jets safety Jamal Adams came into the league in 2017, he’s been a force in the secondary. Adams has racked up 197 combined tackles, 5.5 sacks and four forced fumbles in 32 career games. Last year’s efforts helped him earn a trip to the Pro Bowl as well as second-team All-Pro honors as well.
Going into this upcoming season, Adams will be coached by a new defensive coordinator. Gregg Williams, who was previously the interim head coach for the Cleveland Browns, joined the Jets’ staff in January. This week, Williams recalled the first thing he said to Adams when they met.
