The New York Jets have approximately $90 million available to spend on prospective free agents. Whether it’s Kirk Cousins or not, the green and white could bring in several impact players that could change things on 1 Jets Drive. So who will they be chasing?
The Jets reporters who work for the team do a great job with their ‘Jets 360’ coverage, specifically around the NFL Combine. I noticed an interesting nugget from NFL Insider Ian Rapoport who joined the set to give us an update on Morris Claiborne and the green and white:
#Jets and Morris Claiborne will try to get something done that works for both sides likely during the legal tampering period before free agency kicks off per @RapSheet on #Jets360 w/ @eallenjets @EthanBGreenberg

Apparently, Claiborne is being chased by “eight-to-10 teams,” according to Newsday‘s Calvin Watkins.
