Since the New York Jets were out in the California area checking out the NFL Draft’s top prospects, Josh Rosen and Sam Darnold, they decided to stick around for another talented passer.
Johnny Manziel?
Yes, believe it or not, a couple of San Diego prospects requested Manziel to be their Pro Day quarterback and thus created an opportunity Johnny Football took full advantage of.
My source confirmed that the Jets were, in fact, one of 12 teams that attended the Pro Day to, at the very least, exercise their due diligence on the talented but troubled quarterback.
